Our Assessment: This Colt 1911 U.S. Army .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol, manufactured in 1918, is a classic World War I-era sidearm that helped establish the legendary reputation of the 1911 platform. Featuring a 5″ barrel and chambered in .45 ACP, it was built for durability, stopping power, and battlefield reliability. As a Curio & Relic firearm, this 1918-produced Colt holds significant historical and collector value, representing one of the final wartime production runs before the 1911 evolved into the M1911A1.
