Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “M-11/NINE mm / S.W.D. INCORPORATED / ATLANTA GA USA.” The serial number is also located on the right side. The lower frame is marked with the Cobray logo.
Barrel Length: 5.75″ (plus barrel extension ventilated barrel shroud)
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade protected by two wings. The rear sight is a peep notch integrated into the receiver. The serrated charging knob has a V-cut that allows sighting through the peep hole and over the front sight post.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The pistol has an integrated polymer grip frame with molded serrations. The grip retains its rubber trigger cover tubing. The grip surfaces show minor handling wear and rate in about Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: Three polymer Cobray-marked magazines are included. All show minor handling marks and light oxidation on the floorplates. They rate in about Very Good to Excellent condition overall.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is light fouling but no visible erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its original parkerized finish. There are scattered scuffs and handling marks on the receiver, upper surfaces, and shroud consistent with light use. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Very Good to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The selector switch is operational, and the charging handle operates smoothly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with three 32-round polymer Cobray-marked magazines.

Manufactured in 1985 by S.W.D. Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, the Cobray M-11/NINE represents a classic of Cold War-era semi-auto firearm design. Styled after the Ingram MAC-11 but adapted for civilian ownership, it retains the compact, rugged appeal of its military sibling while offering legal semi-automatic functionality.
This example features the extended and ventilated barrel shroud, the unique peep/V-notch integrated rear sight system, and retains a high percentage of its original parkerized finish. With its clean bore, functional selector, and three factory Cobray magazines, this M-11/NINE is a well-preserved and practical addition to any 1980s-era semi-auto collection or tactical range lineup.
