The wood has been sanded and refinished. The wood shows light surface level lines and minor compressions scattered throughout. The wood also shows some minor spots of discoloration. The left side of the comb has two notable compressions. There is a small chip missing from the left side front edge of the stock. There are no visible cracks. The edges of the trigger guard, lower tang and trigger show finish loss as well. The finish has also rubbed away under the safety which is normal for these shotguns of this age. The barrel set shows the signature rub mark from the forend as well as some minor scattered marks. Someone has engraved numbers on the receiver and barrel set. The markings are clear, the screw heads sharp but have been turned and the pins un-marred. Overall this shotgun is in Good+ to Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The shotgun features a single selective inertial trigger. The forend is the Browning Non removable style forend. There is zero movement between the barrels and frame. The safety does NOT set automatically when the action is opened but functions properly when manually set. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
