Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.”, the right is marked “MADE IN BELGIUM / ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGL”. The barrel is marked “CAL 40 S & W”. The front strap is marked with the serial number. The right front bow of the trigger guard is marked with a Belgian proof.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a tall aftermarket blade with a tritium lamp and is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a TruDot square notch sight with two tritium lamps and is adjustable for windage and elevation, it is dovetailed into the slide. The lamps are dead.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered black plastic panels with light thumb shelves and smooth borders. The grips have light rubs on the smooth portions with a ding or two down at the bottom. The checkering is strong. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling that will likely be removed upon patient cleaning.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its metal finish. The top of the barrel has spots of dark discoloration from previous oxidation and there are some on the chamber though mush less. There are some light rubs and draglines from use and storage. The left of the slide has a ding next at the front sight likely from installation. The slide stop has a few small spots of very light surface oxidation. The edges have some light thinning, most noticeable on the dust cover and front edges of the slide. The action shows operational wear. The screw heads show light use with deep slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. It has an ambidextrous thumb safety mounted on the frame. The magazine disconnect functions properly. The trigger is crisp. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a serial matched grey hardcase, paperwork including the manual, and two 10-round magazines. The magazines shows some scratches, draglines, thinning, and one has some discoloration from previous oxidation. They rate about Fine and Very Good.
