Markings: The right side of the barrel is marked “SPECIAL STEEL 12 GA- 2 ¾”-3” AND 3 ½” / PAT. 6907687”. The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH / MADE IN JAPAN/MIROKU”. The underside of the trigger guard is marked with the Browning buckmark. The left side of the chamber is marked “INVECTOR / PLUS / 28””. The top tang is marked “05659MR132”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked “05659”, “NP” proof, and “3 ½”.

Barrel Length: 28” Vent Rib

Choke: This shotgun has screw-in chokes. The upper barrel is choked Improved Cylinder. The lower barrel is choked Cylinder. Two additional chokes are included that read Full and Modified.

Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a white dot bead front sight. The top of the rib is finely checkered to reduce glare.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered walnut with a pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and a black rubber Decelerator buttpad. There are scattered tiny compressions, light draglines, and faint scratches. There are no chips or cracks and the checkering is generally sharp with a couple minor interruptions. The drop is 1 1/2” at the comb and 2 3/16” at the heel. The cast is about neutral. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad, which shows light wear. The stocks rate in about Very Good-Fine overall condition.

Type of Finish: The barrels are blue. The receiver has a silver nitride finish.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only light handling marks. There is some light finish loss on the right side of the connecting metal of the barrels. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in its original box with the previously mentioned chokes, chamber locks, and paperwork including a manual.
