The stocks fit the frame tightly, with no play. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stocks rate in Fine condition.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minor wear, with only a few minor imperfections on the metal surfaces. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine to Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the half-cock safety. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with the magazine and the scope as mentioned above.

Our Assessment: The Browning/Miroku BLR Lightweight Stainless in 6.5 Creedmoor is a modern, well-executed take on the classic lever-action concept — blending fast handling and compact ergonomics with the flexibility of a detachable box magazine and a receiver capable of handling high-performance modern cartridges. Built in Japan to Browning’s specifications, the BLR Lightweight Stainless is a terrific choice for hunters who want quick-pointing lever action feel, without giving up the ballistics and long-range capability of 6.5 Creedmoor.

Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor — a contemporary, highly efficient cartridge prized for excellent ballistic performance, moderate recoil and wide ammunition availability — this BLR is set up as a practical hunting/precision platform. The 20? barrel and light-weight configuration make it especially handy for brush, mountain, or spot-and-stalk work where quick handling matters. The included Redfield Illuminator 3–12×50 on a one-piece picatinny rail provides a capable, low- to mid-power hunting/precision optic and the factory 4-round magazine preserves the BLR’s practical, field-ready layout.

Cosmetically and mechanically the rifle checks very well. The action cycles and the half-cock safety functions as intended. The bore is bright with sharp rifling (10/10), and the metal retains about 98% of its factory finish with only minor handling marks. The Grade-1 gloss walnut furniture presents in Fine condition with tight fit to the action and sharp checkering; the supplied magazine is excellent and the Redfield scope rates Very Good with only light finish wear. Overall this BLR is a fine-to-excellent example of the model and is essentially turn-key for hunting as configured. Please check out our high quality photos, and good luck on your bids! – J.D.
