Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH / MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU”. The left side of the monoblock is marked “INVECTOR PLUS”, “26””. The right of the top barrel is marked “CYNERGY SPECIAL STEEL 20GA-2 3/4” AND 3” PAT. 6907687”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked “01330ZV132” and “ S U O”. The bottom of both sides of the receiver are marked “BROWNING”. The bottom of the trigger guard has a Browning Buckmark. The bottom of the receiver is marked “CYNERGY”. The butt pad is marked “INFLEX TECHNOLOGY”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked “30 P 01330 NP 3 B”.
Barrel Length: 26” with a narrow raised rib.
Choke: This shotgun is cut for Invector Plus Choke Tubes. Currently installed with MODIFIED over FULL.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white bead sight at the front of the rib. The rib is serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a Grade I/II satin finish black walnut furniture set. The forend is a checkered forend and the stock is a checkered, semi pistol grip, straight comb, with Inflex Technology buttpad stock. The LOP measures approximately 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The drop at comb is 1 ?ths the drop at heel is 2”. There is a neutral cast to the stock. The forend shows minor surface scratches and a few small depressions. The stock shows some surface lines and a small depression on the left side of the wrist. Overall the furniture is in Very Good Condition.
Type of Finish: Silver Nitride finished receiver with Gold Toned Trigger and Enhanced Engraving, Satin Blued barrels.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bores are mirror bright with no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate in 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is a small scratch on the right side of the barrel set about an inch back from the muzzle. The inside of the receiver shows minimal rub wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear and the pins are clean. Overall, this gun rates in about Very Good to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The shotgun features a single selective mechanical trigger and ejectors. The barrels lock up solidly. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened but does function properly when engaged manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards. This shotgun includes Browning paperwork saying that it was previously owned, and was thoroughly inspected by factory gunsmiths and that any and all mechanical repairs that were necessary have been made and that the firearm was deemed to be in good working order in August of 2019. It was then sold in refurbished “as is” condition. This writer tested the trigger, action, and ejectors with snap caps and everything functioned correctly.
