Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”.  The right side of the barrel is marked “CALIBER .22 LONG RIFLE / BROWNING PATENTS”.  This rifle has Grade II Factory hand engraving.

Barrel Length: 19.5”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into the barrel, the rear sight is a flip up “U” notch leaf that is adjustable for windage and elevation. The top of the barrel is also drilled, tapped, and filled in front and behind the rear sight for additional sight options.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece checkered and polished black walnut with serrated buttplate, semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and checkered forend. There is a small lever at the bottom front of the receiver to takedown the rifle. The finger charging handle is located under the receiver on the bolt.  The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent – Like New overall condition. There are little to no signs of handling wear. The checkering is crisp with sharp peaks. The buttplate is free from wear. There are no chips or cracks.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In my opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no operation wear. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. There are no notable defects. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent -Like New condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle.  As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its serial matching factory box with 2-piece foam tray, and original shipping box.
