Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “Blaser Germany/DE R/116102 MA / R8 Cal. .300 Win. Mag.” with the date code “BG”, ulm antler, and QR square. The bottom of the barrel is marked “35 BL6160”. The left side of the receiver is marked “MADE BY BLASER GERMANY/DE BLASER USA San Antonio, TX”. The right side of the receiver is marked “RR035840 Warning: Read owners manual before use”. The collet bolt head is marked “RB116541 / Blaser DE”. The bolt body is marked “BL6180” and “SW7102”.

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for irons sights. The top of the barrel is grooved for a proprietary Blaser scope mount. A Zeiss Conquest HD5 2-10x42mm scope. The scope shows the lightest of handling and storage marls. The glass is crystal clear with no obstructions.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece green synthetic with black thermo elastic inlays, recoil pad, palm swell, and black forearm tip. The stock shows only the lightest of handling marks with no significant signs of wear. The LOP measures 14 ?” from the front of the trigger to the back of the soft rubber buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion present.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of finish shows only the lightest of handling and storage marks. There is no notable wear or damage. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The actions functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes a foam cut Pelican Case, Zeiss HD5 scope, leather sling, “special” grease, magazine well dust cover, allen key, torx key, flat head screwdriver, and factory paperwork. The accessories all rate in about Excellent condition with little signs of use.
Assessment: The Blaser Model R8 Professional rifles are known for their ease of barrel interchangeability and their sub minute of arc accuracy. They have unusual features for a hunting rifle such as a floating barrel and a safety that locks both the bolt and firing pin. This model was built in 2016 and is considered the Pro Package. This includes a sturdy Pelican Case with foam cutouts for each specific piece of the rifle and accessories. This rifle package is everything needed for you to travel for your big hunt this year.
