The beavertail and trigger guard have scrapes that have removed the matte finish and exposed shiny metal. The dust cover has a little patch of discoloration at the front. The grip frame has a few little marks and nicks. There is standard operational wear. There is light handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The pistol features an ambidextrous thumb safety, mounted on the slide, which doubles as a decocker. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The pistol comes in a blue plastic Beretta case with five 15-round magazines. The magazines have operational wear, some mottled discoloration, thinning, and some finish loss. The finish loss is most apparent on the baseplates. The mags rate in about Very Good condition. Please note, no magazines will be included for purchasers where the magazines cannot be legally transferred.

Our Assessment: The Beretta battle-tested and proven M9 has served the United States military for decades due to its reliability and ease of maintenance. The model 92FS is essentially the same as an M9, but with a civilian model designation and minor differences. Thanks to its accuracy, durability and versatility, it also makes a superb choice for personal or home-defense as well as concealed carry. This example has a stainless steel barrel and slide with an alloy frame, making it very resistant to corrosion. The pistol is in about Fine condition with 93% of its finish remaining and comes in a Beretta case with five 15-round magazines where they can be transferred. This is an earlier U.S. production model and a little nicer than the ones produced today. As many of the dedicated Beretta collectors already know, unlike current production models that have the black safety, hammer, trigger, trigger bar, takedown lever, takedown pin, magazine release, and guide rod this one features all those parts in stainless or silver-tone alloy, a much more attractive look in our opinion. This one comes in Fine condition and is ready for some shooting! Please see our photos and good luck!
