Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed silver bead mounted to the rib. There is also a silver mid-bead.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a two-piece checkered select walnut with a finger shelf forend, and the stock is a capped semi pistol grip, fluted straight comb stock with Beretta plastic butt plate. The length of pull is 14”, the drop at comb is 1.5” and the drop at heel is 2.25”. The shotgun weighs 6lbs 2 OZ. The wood shows small compressions and minor surface level lines scattered throughout. The most notable of which is on the left hand side of the forend about mid length. There are no visible chips or cracks. The butt plate has sharp checkering showing minor wear and discoloration. Overall the furniture set on this shotgun is in Very Good+ condition.
Type of Finish: Blued and Coin.
Finish Originality: Original.
Bore Condition: The smooth bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores. There is plastic fouling from wads present in the forcing cones. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains approximately 99% of its metal finish. There is some minor wear on the metal most of which is covered when the shotgun is assembled. Most of the wear is from the gun being assembled and disassembled and from responsible use. The cap on the pistol grip shows some discoloration and surface rust around the screw. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Very Good to Very Good+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The action locks up tight with no play. The safety/selector does not automatically reset and functions properly when set manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

In 28 gauge, this BL-5 offers both rarity and refined handling, combining light weight, balance, and Italian craftsmanship, making it a desirable piece for both shooters and collectors of fine small-bore over/unders.
