Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “OB 12 ga 3? – 76 – 32?, “Optima-Bore”, with Italian proofs and at the chamber with “X Trap / Beretta – Gradone V.T.”. The left of the lower barrel is marked “-Excelsior-high strength alloyed steel-” with Italian proof marks, the underside of the barrel flat is marked with 3 Italian proofs, the serial number and date code. The right of the upper barrel is marked at the chamber with “Beretta USA Corp. Ackk. MD / Made in Italy” and in front of the chamber with Beretta’s two line warning. The left of the rib extension on the un-single barrel is marked “Bottom Single / Beretta – Gardone V.T.”, the left of the barrel is marked “-Excelsior – high strength alloyed steel-“, the bottom if marked with Italian proofs, date code, the serial number and “R47278B”, the right has Beretta’s warning, partially obscured by the forend fill-panel. The right of the rib extension is marked “OB 12 ga. 3″-76-34″ / Beretta USA Corp. Ackk. MD / Made in Italy”. The inside of the forend bracket is marked “2493”, the upper tang is marked with the serial number and “DT10”. Each side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA” in gold, the bottom is marked with Beretta’s logo over “DT10 / Trident” in gold. In the forend iron relief cut, the receiver is marked “MADE IN ITALY”.
Barrel Length: The O/U barrel set is 32″, the un-single set is 34″.
Choke: Each barrel is threaded for Optima chokes. Installed on the O/U set is Improved Modified over Modified, installed on the un-single is Full. An additional Full and an Improved Cylinder are also included.
Sights / Optics: Each barrel set has a white bead in a metal base, screwed into their ventilated rib near the muzzle with a smaller mid-rib steel bead; the top of the ribs are finely checkered for glare reduction. Also included are two extra red fiber optic front sights.
Weight: O/U: 9 lb. 0 oz., Un-Single: 9 lb., 1.6 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered select walnut with beavertail forend, pistol grip, adjustable monte-carlo comb and black rubber Beretta buttpad. The stocks have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. As adjusted the drop at the front of the comb is approximately 1 3/8?, drop at the rear of the comb 1 3/8″ and drop at heel is 2 1/8?, consistent across both barrel sets. The stock is cast off just slightly at the heel, a little more at the toe. The Trigger is adjustable fore and aft by about 3/8?, the LOP measures 14 5/8? from the front of the gold plated trigger to the back of the pad. The stocks are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun set retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly with both barrel sets. The shotgun has an upper tang mounted safety & barrel selector. The shotgun has independent ejectors. The barrels lock to the receiver with no play. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a blue plastic Beretta locking case fitted for the gun with both barrel sets and a cardboard sleeve for the case. The sleeve does not have a label. Included in the case are Beretta branded cloth sleeves for the barrel sets and stocked receiver, the additional chokes and a choke wrench in a blue plastic Beretta case, another plastic Beretta case with the additional front sights, a second trigger, spare firing pins with return springs and tools for their installation, a comb adjustment tool, a bottle of Beretta gun oil, one snap cap and an assortment of factory paperwork including manual. The sleeve has scattered wear and fraying, but has done a good job of protecting the case which has some residue from a sticker, but otherwise shows minimal storage wear.
Our Assessment: Beretta is one of the oldest manufacturing houses that has been producing some of the best quality competition shotguns around, and this piece is no exception. With the immense quality of a Beretta, beautiful finishing and nice walnut stocks, this is a gun that comes alive in your hands and promises to be an absolute beast dusting clays. The DT10 Trident Trap Combo is a versatile set that will be perfect for sporting clays with its over/under barrel set and just right for trap with its un-single barrel. This clean and sexy DT10 Trap Combo looks like it’s spent more time in its included case than out, with barely any evidence of handling, much less use. With all of its included accessories, and the ability to accept Optima chokes, this is not a gun you want to miss out on if you’re a clay shooter, and should have several lifetimes worth of use left in it.
