Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / OB 12 GA. 3″ – 76 – 28″ OPTIMA – BORE”. The right side of the barrel is marked “WARNING – READ INSTRUCTION BOOK FOR SAFE OPERATION / BOOK FREE FROM BERETTA / BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD / ALLOYED CR. MO. QUENCHED HIGH TENSILE STEEL”, various specifications and Italian proof marks, and a date code. The left side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA / AL 391 Urika 2”, and features engraving. The right side of the receiver is marked “AL391 Urika 2 – 12 ga.”, “Made in Italy Patented”, “AA384454”, and the Beretta logo. The bottom side of the receiver is marked with three proof marks and the date code “CA”.
Barrel Length: 28″
Choke: The barrel is threaded for interchangeable Optima-Chokes Currently installed with Modified. Also includes Full, Improved Cylinder, Improved Modified, and Cylinder. 5 Chokes total.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green fiber optic sight affixed to the front of a finely checkered rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two piece checkered walnut set with a full finger shelf forend, and a semi pistol grip fluted straight comb stock with rubber butt pad. The length of pull is 14.25″, the shotgun includes cast and drop spacers/shims, and the shotgun weighs 7lbs 6oz. The forend shows a few small spots where the checkering has been flattened. The stock shows a few spots of discoloration and a few surface level lines. The butt pad is soft and pliable showing some very minor discoloration from age. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the furniture is in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with no erosion. The bore shows lines from use and some plastic fouling throughout the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The receiver shows some very minor discoloration from oil. I believe this should be easily removed with a proper cleaning. The barrel shows a few small rub marks and nicks. Most of the rub marks are from the forend and are concealed when assembled. The markings are clear and the pins un-marred. Overall this shotgun is in Very Good+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes a Blue Beretta case, spacer, extra butt pad, choke wrench, 5 chokes with 4 choke holders, manual, paperwork, shims, wrenches, and sling swivels.
