Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / 20 GA. 3” – 24””. The bottom left shoulder of the barrel is marked “AB212663”. The bottom of the barrel is marked “216081B”. The right of the barrel is marked with Beretta’s three-line warning address. The bottom right shoulder of the barrel is marked “ALLOYED CR. MO. QUENCHED HIGH TENSILE STEEL”, “KG 0.780 CAM 76 – 15,9”, two Italian proof marks, and the BS date code. The left of the receiver is marked “PATENTED” and “P. Beretta AL391 Urika”. The right of the receiver is marked with Beretta’s arrows and rings logo, “AL391 Urika – 20 GA.”, “Made in Italy”, and with the serial number. The bottom of the receiver in front of the loading port is marked with three Italian date codes and “BS” in square date code. The front of the forend at the gas vent is marked “Beretta” in gold.
Barrel Length: 24” With Vent-Rib
Choke: The barrel is threaded for removable chokes. The installed Benelli Armi choke is Modified. There are two additional Beretta chokes that measure Skeet and Full. There are two additional Benelli Armi chokes that measure Improved Modified and Cylinder.
Sights / Optics: There is a silver bead at the front of the rib. The top of the receiver is serrated and the top of the rib is finely checkered to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a two piece checkered walnut set with a pistol grip and textured solid black rubber Beretta buttpad. There are two small compressions on the bottom of the forearm. There are little nicks and scuffs on the front of the grip and on the comb. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 13 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The pad has scattered rub marks. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with some minor fouling. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a little cluster of faint scratches on the left side of the barrel nearer the muzzle end and another on the left at the rear. There are some infrequently scattered faint marks on the receiver. There is minimal operational wear. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The Beretta AL391 Urika is a lightweight semi-automatic shotgun with a self-regulating gas system that can handle a range of loads from light target loads to heavy hunting loads. The steel and wood looks of this shotgun harken back to the earliest semi-automatic shotguns but the design and craftsmanship are all modern.
