Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD” with “PB” in oval and is also marked “IT17” behind the serrations. The right side of the slide is marked “MOD. 92FS-CAL. 9mm Parabellum – PATENTED” above a one-line warning. The front of the slide is marked “STAINLESS”. The right side of the barrel, obscured by the slide, has Italian proofs. The right side of the frame is marked with proofs, the date code, and the dust cover is marked “READ MANUAL BEFORE USE”. Both grip panels have Beretta’s three arrow monogram logo. The left side of the dust cover is marked with the serial number. The top of the barrel is marked “PB – STAINLESS – 9 x 19”.

Sights / Optics: The pistol has a three red dot configuration. The front sight is a blade with one red dot recess, the blade is integral to the slide. The rear sight is a square notched base with two red dot recesses, the base is dovetailed onto the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black rubberized panels with circled Beretta’s monogram logo and texturing. The right panel exhibits a small gap to the frame on the top rear corner. Aside from the little gap, there is only light handling wear. The grips rate in about Fine Plus-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is deep and sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few tiny marks and tiny smooth spots from handling and standard use. There is light discoloration from oil by the trigger bar from storage. There is light operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The pistol features an ambidextrous thumb safety, mounted on the slide, which doubles as a decocker. The factory guide rod is included but an aftermarket alloy guide rod is currently installed. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The pistol comes in a blue plastic Beretta case with a serial matching cardboard case cover, paperwork including the manual, bristle brushes, factory guide rod, and a 10-round magazine. The magazine has light thinning on contact points and rates in Fine Plus condition.
Our Assessment: The Beretta battle-tested and proven M9 has served the United States military for decades due to its reliability and ease of maintenance. The model 92FS is essentially the same as an M9, but with a civilian model designation and minor differences. Thanks to its accuracy, durability and versatility, it also makes a superb choice for personal or home-defense as well as concealed carry. This example has a stainless steel barrel and slide with an alloy frame, making it very resistant to corrosion. The pistol is in about Excellent condition with 98% of its finish remaining and comes in a Beretta case with one magazine to get you started. Please see our photos and good luck!
