Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BENELLI ARMI S.P.A. – URBINO – MADE IN ITALY” and below the stock line with “KG 1,090 CAM. 76 – 18.3”, two Italian proofs and “BU” date code, the bottom is marked “415896”, the right is marked “12 GA. 3” – FOR 2 ¾” or 3” SHELLS / READ OWNERS MANUAL BEFORE USING GUN” / C09962″. The left side of the receiver is marked “Benelli U.S.A. CORP. – ACCOKEEK. MD.- MADE IN ITALY”. There are two Italian proofs and “BU” in square date code on the bottom-left edge of the frame in front of the trigger guard. The bottom-right edge of the frame in front of the trigger guard is marked with the serial number “F177257”. The right side of the receiver is marked “RAFFAELLO” and “DE LUXE”. The bolt carrier is marked “* BENELLI ARMI SYSTEM”. The bottom-front of the receiver is marked “BENELLI ARMI / URBINO ITALY”. The receiver has extensive etched scroll engraving with a pigeon scene on the right and an eagle holding a coat of arms on the left.
Barrel Length: 26″, Vent-Rib
Choke: This shotgun has removable chokes and currently has a Modified choke installed. Also included are Full, Improved Modified, and Cylinder chokes.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red bead at the front of the rib and a silver-colored midbead. The top of the rib is serrated for glare reduction.
Weight: 6 lb., 12 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered select walnut with flat-bottom pistol grip, straight comb, black rubber Benelli buttpad and finger grooves on the forend. The bottom of the grip has a red plastic Benelli insert but the gun also comes with a silver initial plate to mount in the same location. There is little in the way of handling wear but there are a few scattered light marks, the most notable a compression on the right toward the rear and another at the bottom edge of the grip. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 1/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad. The pad shows little to no wear. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This Shotgun retains about 98% of its finish. There are a few faint marks from handling and storage. The pin heads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a gray plastic Benelli case with the extra chokes and initial plate as listed, choke wrench, and an assortment of factory paperwork including manual.
Our Assessment: This is a beautiful shotgun made by Benelli. Their semi-automatic shotguns almost all use the ingenious inertial operating system that has made Benelli famous and the Raffaello is no exception. Simple and reliable, the Raffaello deluxe takes the operating system a step further by pairing it with gorgeous walnut stocks and etched engraved coin-finished receiver.
