Our Assessment:  The Auto Ordnance T1 Case Hardened (T1CH) is a semi-automatic rifle that pays homage to the classic Thompson submachine gun with a unique and visually striking case-hardened finish. Chambered in .45 ACP, the T1CH retains the powerful performance and historical design elements that made the original Thompson famous. The most notable feature of the T1CH is its case-hardened steel receiver, which gives the firearm a distinctive and vibrant appearance with a mix of blues, purples, and other hues resulting from the case-hardening process. This not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also enhances the durability and longevity of the receiver.

The T1CH features a horizontal foregrip, reminiscent of the military M1 variant used during World War II, providing improved stability and control during shooting. The rifle is equipped with a finely finished wooden stock and foregrip, maintaining the classic look and feel of the original Thompson. Functionally, the T1CH includes the iconic finned barrel and Cutts compensator, designed to reduce muzzle rise and recoil, enhancing shooting accuracy and comfort. The rifle comes with adjustable rear sights and a blade front sight, ensuring precise aiming in various shooting conditions.

The T1CH uses stick magazines with capacities typically ranging from 20 to 30 rounds and is also compatible with drum magazines, which can hold up to 50 or 100 rounds, offering versatility in ammunition capacity. Overall, the Auto Ordnance T1 Case Hardened (T1CH) is a beautiful and functional tribute to the legendary Thompson submachine gun.
