Markings: The top of the receiver is marked, “ZEPHYR” The left side of the rifle is marked, “62 .22L.R. / 62 Steyr – Daimler – Puch A.G., Steyr, Austria” The right side is marked, “2178 / 2178” There are some small proof marks.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post dovetailed to a raised knurled base. The rear sight is a two position flip-up V-notch dovetailed to a barrel mounted base. There are cuts for a scope to be mounted to the receiver.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a single piece checkered walnut full length stock with a steel forend cap, capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb w/ cheekpiece, and serrated plastic buttplate. There are two sling loops. There are some minor scratches and pressure dents throughout. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 14 1/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in at about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is minor action wear. There is a spot of finish wear on the top of the receiver. The screw heads are lightly tooled, the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. This rifle features double set triggers.
