Markings: The left shoulder of the barrel is marked with “AC” in oval and “ARMI SPORT / ITALY CAL. 45/70 U.S. GOV.”, the left is marked “SH8631”, the right shoulder is marked “KBI INC. / Harrisburg PA”. The top tang is marked “SH8631”, the left of the receiver has Italian proofs and “CB” in box date code.
Barrel Length: 32″, Octagonal
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade in a slotted base dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a folding ladder-style sight presenting a “V”-notch when folded down, a “V”-notch on the slider, and a “V”-notch at the top of the ladder, dovetailed to the rear of the barrel. The top tang is drilled, tapped and filled for a tang sight (none included).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered wood with schnabel forend, straight grip, straight comb and case color steel buttplate. The stocks have a few scattered minor marks and there is some discoloration at the front forend mounting screw’s escutcheon. The checkering is well defined, generally sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 7/8″ and 13″ from the fronts of the triggers to the back of the buttplate. The plate has no notable wear or damage. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is light and crisp when set. The lever locks up tight. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes in a brown cardboard Charles Daly box with serial-matching label and manual. The box has storage wear with some fraying and tears at edges and corners, in about Good condition.
