Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with eagle over “N” proof mark, a “76” date code, and an Ulm antler. The top of the barrel is marked “Anschütz-Model Match 54 / Cal. .22 long rifle”. The left side of the receiver is marked with an eagle over “N” proof mark, “A”, the serial number, “141832”, “J.G. Anschütz GmbH Ulm/D West-Germany”. The top of the receiver is marked with the Anschütz logo.

Barrel Length: 26”

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a target sight with an o-ring aperture in-line dovetailed into a male dovetail notch. The rear sight is a fully adjustable Anschütz peep sight that is attached to the rear half of the grooved receiver.

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a one-piece ergonomic wood textured forend and grip, right side palm swell, Monte-Carlo comb with cheekpiece, and a height adjustable checkered hard rubber buttpad. The forend has a 15” long grooved alloy accessory rail with a hand stop near the front. The forend texturing is dotted with light nicks and marrs. Smooth areas of the wood have intermittent light dings, nicks, and compressions. Edges of the buttstock and the grip, especially those handled consistently, have light wear through the finish. The belly is dotted with light-to-moderate nicks, dings, and compressions. The LOP measures 13 3/8” from the front face of the trigger to the rear edge of the buttplate. The buttplate has minimal wear. Overall, the stock is in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are intermittent minor nicks and very minor scuffs, some of which go through the finish, scattered about the barrel—two more notable instances can be seen on the left side near to the front. There is thinning in the bolt knob. Markings are clear and screws are only lightly tool marked. Overall, this rifle is in Fine-plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
