Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “A-10 AMERICAN / 12 GAUGE 2 3/4″ AND 3″”, the right is marked “CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN M.F.G. CO. / N.B. CT. U.S.A.”. The bottom of the monoblock and the top tang are marked with the serial number. Each sideplate is marked “A-10” in banner with the sideplates, receiver, trigger plate, guard and forend iron covered in intricate, fine, tight rose & scroll engraving.
Barrel Length: 28”, Vent-Rib
Choke: The barrels are threaded for Trulock removeable chokes with Improved Cylinder over Skeet I installed and Full, Improved Modified and Modified included.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a red bead in a base at the front of the ventilated rib. The top of the rib is finely checkered and serrated to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered select black American walnut with straight grip, straight comb and solid black rubber Galazan buttpad. The forend has no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The buttstock has a light compression in the top of the checkering on the left of the wrist, another on the top of the comb in the center and a few other scattered minor compressions and handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp apart from the compression mentioned. The LOP measures 14 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Drop at the comb is approximately 1 1/2″, drop at heel is 2 1/4″. The cast is about neutral. The pad has no notable wear or damage. The stocks rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The barrels have very light wear from the forend, concealed while assembled, the edges of the rib have a few scattered light marks. The receiver, sideplates and trigger guard show only light handling marks. The screw heads are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in an aluminum hard-sided case with black nylon cover, black felt interior and partitions for the barel assembly, stock assembly and accessories. Accessories included a leather-bound hard-sided case with the extra chokes, choke wrench and disassembly tools and a leather-bound folder with manual and warranty card. All accessories are in Excellent condition.
