Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM”. The barrel at the port is marked “CAL. 9m/m P.” The serial number is marked on the frontstrap. The right front of the trigger guard is marked with a Belgian proof. The left side front of the trigger guard is marked “6”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a rounded blade fixed to the top of the slide. The rear sight is a flat topped square notch dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered walnut panels. There is no notable wear or damage to the grips with only very light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are only very light handling marks and light operational wear on the barrel. The grip screws are sharp with light tool marks and the markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. It has a frame mounted safety and the spur style hammer has a half cock safety position. This pistol still has a functioning magazine disconnect and the trigger pull is crisp. The slide has little play to the frame. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a total of one 13-round magazine with very little operational wear, in about Excellent condition. This magazine will only be included for buyers in states where it may be legally transferred.
Our Assessment: This is a Browning Hi-Power that was made by FN in Belgium in early 1976. This pistol still has its original polished blue finish and is in about Excellent condition. This pistol is the perfect size for concealed carry: not too heavy and with a grip frame that is very ergonomic. With an all steel frame and slide, there is no need to worry about using +P loads in this pistol in small quantities. Besides being used for concealed carry, it can also be used for home defense.
