Our Assessment: This is a really nice-looking revolver in Excellent condition. You won’t find a stronger action on a medium frame, the full underlug barrel will help absorb any recoil and still keep you on target, and the cylinder lockup is solid on all six chambers. The Speed-Six and Security-Six revolvers were stronger than S&W’s K frame and were in production well before S&W came out with their L framed revolvers. They also have a smoother action than the GP100/SP101 series of pistols. There are only a few light marks on the revolver, its cylinder lockup is solid and it comes with a factory box and an Instruction Manual as issued to the U. S. Postal Inspection Service, which used the 3” stainless steel Speed-Six. This revolver is perfect for concealed carry, offers full-length extraction and has 6 chambers instead of the 5 found on many small framed S&W revolvers. Why settle for a lesser quality revolver with less firepower when you can get this well-maintained Security Six in such nice condition? Please see our photos and good luck!
