Our Assessment: This is a Marlin Model 45 Carbine. It is a semi-auto rifle with a 16 ½” barrel chambered in .45 ACP, and uses standard 1911 7 round magazines. This rifle is in great condition with only a few light marks, and has a bright bore with sharp micro-groove rifling. This lightweight rifle would be great for home protection or carrying around in the field all day after varmints. It ought to work great when pig hunting, as you really need a fast handling quick shooting rifle for those running devils. With as little use as it has seen, it is sure to have many years of useful life ahead of it.
