Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The gun is in the box with matching end label and oiled paper.

Our Assessment: A revolver chambered in a rimless cartridge such as 9mm offers the obvious advantage of being able to use the same ammunition as your favorite semi-automatic pistols. The further advantage, shared by this excellent Model 940, is that it is typically loaded using a moon clip (not included), ensuring positive ejection of all cases when unloading and allowing fresh cartridges to be loaded all at once without having to discard your loading device after loading, as with speedloaders. Thus, this revolver allows the use of modern ammunition designed for semi-automatics, reloads with a similar speed as semi-automatics, yet still retains the simplicity and reliability of the revolver. An excellent defensive firearm, this revolver would also be at home in any collection of Smith & Wesson revolvers. Please see our photos and good luck!
