Our Assessment: This model was introduced in 2001 as a personal defense (PD) version of the 382Sc “Mountain Lite”. There are lightweight .357 revolvers, there are compact .357 revolvers, there are .357 revolvers with a capacity of 7, then there’s this! Weighing in at 18.3 oz (unloaded), you could not ask for a more comfortable carry revolver with a higher capacity chambered in .357 magnum. With windage and elevation adjustable sights, the 386PD offers all of this and precision, too. Please see our photos and good luck!
