Our Assessment: A lot of guns come though this shop, but few look this good with a box as torn up as this. The box looks like it has been through a battelfield, while the gun appears lightly used and well cared for. The drag line is visible in the finish, but has not worn though it. The top strap and face of the cylinder has the lightest amount of flame cutting. The bore is a little dirty, but no erosion. Our guess is that when this gun was bought the excitement of the purchase was too overwhelming to contain and the box was torn open to get to the gun. The manual and paperwork ripped from the foam to get a quick read. After a day or two at the range and maybe occasional firing the gun was stored. The box, though torn and tattered, was set aside, just in case it was ever needed…
