Our Assessment: From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilson_Combat “Some of the first firearms Wilson modified for customers were the Colt 1911-A1, Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver and Ruger Single Action Revolvers. Models like the PPC .38 Special and the .44 Magnum Hunter made Wilson’s reputation for producing quality firearms. Wilson originally customized pistols with aftermarket parts from gunsmiths such as Armand Swensen and by 1983 began making his own parts. By 1996, Wilson was building his own M1911 pistols completely in-house. Wilson’s handguns have a quality guarantee of 1 in (25 mm) groups at 25 yd (23 m).”. This Compact CQB pistol mimic’s Colt’s famous commander sized handgun, capable of 0.8″ groups at 15 yards, as witnessed by the factory test target. Included is an inspector checklist from the factory that gives testament to the attention to detail one would expect from such a prestigious company. If the overall condition is not impressive enough, a full pack of factory goodies are included. In its high condition, it will probably remain a beauty queen but it would be perfectly understandable if one were to want to give it a few shots down range. Please see our pictures and good luck.
