Our Assessment: This is a Smith & Wesson 651 ‘kit’ pistol, named as such for its usefulness in one’s ‘kit’ on hiking, camping or other outdoor excursions. This pistol has about 98% of its finish remaining looking to have seen minimal use. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion, making this a superb item that is chambered in .22 Magnum, which has as much energy at 100 yards as .22 L.R. produces at point blank range! With its original box and other goodies, the collectors are sure to notice this one. Please see our pictures and good luck.
