Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade, which is integral to the slide, with a rear face dot recess. The rear sight is a flat top, square notched base that is dovetailed onto the rear of the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are engraved and polished brass panels. The flanks read “PB” in circle, with scroll work and fine ‘backgrounding’ in the negative space. The grips appear to have been custom made for this gun, the inside of the grips have unpolished casting textures. There are some line and depth inconsistencies on the bordering of the engraving, the polished portions have wispy scuff marks and light scratches. The panels are free from any major damages or losses. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Type of Finish: The frame and slide are chrome plated, the barrel, trigger, takedown lever, slide stop, magazine release and thumb safety are gold plated, the grip panels are polished and engraved brass.

Finish Originality: The surfaces were refinished after engraving.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright but for some very persistent lead fowling, which should clean out with the proper removal kit; the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 93% of its metal finish. Some of the metal surfaces show light handling marks under the finish; the serrations on the fore and back strap of the grip frame have some compression marks. The pistol has large coverage of hand done engraving; some of the lines of the work have variation in depth and defined edge. The gold plated items have wispy scuffs in areas, the barrel has a few marks from normal operation. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double action trigger pull is smooth, single action is crisp. The ambidextrous slide mounted thumb safety doubles as a decocker. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is one 10 round Pro Mag brand magazine, which has a custom made base extension that allows 21 rounds of 9mm Parabellum to be loaded; WE CANNOT SELL THIS MAGAZINE TO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS OR RESIDENTS OF ANY STATE WITH HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINE LAWS. The base extension is polished brass, with hand engraved floral elements as photographed; there are some wear spots that have developed a small amount of patina. The magazine itself shows very light wear and rates in Fine condition.

Our Assessment: Many Beretta 92F’s have come through our shop, but none have automatically turned heads as swiftly as this one! If you happen to have a chrome plated helicopter with teeth to match, or live on a 4,000 acre ranch and want people to know that you are packing heat from across the valley, this is the one for you! The surfaces have hand engraving, covering most of the pistol. The frame and slide are chrome plated, the barrel, trigger, takedown lever, slide stop, magazine release and thumb safety are gold plated, the grip panels are polished and engraved brass, as is the magazine base extension, which allows 21 rounds (AY YAI YAI!) to be fed (WE CANNOT SELL THIS MAGAZINE TO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS OR RESIDENTS OF ANY STATE WITH HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINE LAWS). The refinished surfaces show but a few minor marks and about 93% of the finishes remain in total. The bore is bright but for some persistent lead fowling which should clear out with a proper removal kit; there is no erosion present. This is one interesting custom pistol that is sure to spark interest from gun enthusiasts all across the spectrum; one would be hard pressed to find a pistol like this outside of a federal lockup facility. Please see our pictures and good luck.
