Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “XD-45ACP COMPACT 3.8”. The right side is marked “XD”, “Springfield Armory U.S.A.” and the serial number. The top of the slide is marked with the Springfield Armory Croatia trademark symbol. The barrel is marked with the serial number and “MATCH / 45 ACP”. The right and left side of the grip frame is marked “XDM”.

Sights / Optics: The pistol is mounted with a 2 white dot square notched rear sight and a one white dot front blade. Both are dovetailed into the slide. The underside of the front of the frame has an accessory rail for the addition of a flashlight or optics adapter.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip frame is a single one piece black polymer. The grip is pebbled texture and serrations. With the accessories there are two other backstraps. The entire grip frame and accessory backstraps rate in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: The steel barrel has matte black finish, as does the polymer frame. The magazine is chrome plated with plastic follower and floorplate. The slide is Stainless Steel
Finish Originality: All Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are light scuff and shallow scratch marks in small areas on the slide and frame. There is light loss of finish from the interaction of metal surfaces between the slide and barrel. The markings are sharp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine – Excellent condition.
Mechanics: This pistol has trigger and grip safeties and an ambidextrous magazine release. There is also a loaded chamber indicator. The action works correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Three factory chrome plated 9 round magazines are included, complete with followers and springs. There is a Factory Plastic Holster, Magazine holster for two magazines, three finger extensions for oversized magazines, loader, two extra magazine baseplates, and two replacement backstrap grips as photographed. All items exhibit scuff and scratch marks from use, but is in about Fine – Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: This XD has seen minimal use and rates in Excellent condition. The trigger has some takeup but breaks crisply with a short reset. With the extra mags and factory holsters you need to look no further for you next CCW. Even the hard plastic case that the pistol comes in is high quality.
