Barrel Length: 26″ Mag-Na-Port

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade inline dovetailed into a ramped base that is fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a “V” cut express sight dovetailed into the quarter rib. The quarter rib has QD bases that are installed with rings holding an Armsport Japan 1.5-5 power scope. The scope has some scattered marks through the finish, clear glass, and a duplex reticle. The scope rates in Fine condition

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered walnut with a schnabel forend, pistol grip, Monte Carlo comb, cheekpiece, and black rubber buttpad. There are a few minor compressions and little dings in the wood. There are handling marks. The checkering is strong. The LOP measures 14″ and 13 1/4″ from the fronts of the triggers to the back of the buttpad and 13 1/8″ and 12 3/8″ to the wood. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bores are bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion and for the age, the bores rate a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its finish. There are some scattered little marks through the finish and minor scuffs that have lightly thinned the finish. There are a few spots of light surface oxidation. There are some scattered handling marks and operational marks. The screw heads are lightly used. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
