Our Assessment: The Winchester Model 94 is a lever-action rifle that was produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company from 1894 to 2006. It was one of the most popular rifles of its time and is still highly sought after by collectors and hunters today. The Model 94 was designed by John Browning and was one of the first rifles to use smokeless powder, which made it more powerful and accurate than previous rifles. It was also one of the first rifles to be chambered in the .30-30 Winchester cartridge, which is still a popular hunting cartridge today.

This is a Winchester Golden Spike Commemorative Model 94 Carbine. It was made in 1969 and is in Very Good condition showing signs of light to moderate use. This handsome commemorative was made in honor of the 100th anniversary of the completion of the first transcontinental railroad in the United States. The Golden Spike Commemorative had a limited production run, with only 69,996 being made. This model 94 has a nice walnut stock with an embedded Pacific Railway copper coin depicting two trains and a mountain range. This would make a great addition to any Winchester collection, or round out a commemorative collection. Please see our photos and good luck with your bidding.

As Always,

Keep Your Powder Dry and Bid High!
