There is some light handling wear on the receiver. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Fine-Plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The safety does not engage automatically, only manually. The barrels lock to the frame with no play. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes with all the previously mentioned chokes as well as a serial matching factory box with the original buttplate, chamber locks, and paperwork including the manual.

Our Assessment: This is a Browning 525 Field 16 Gauge, and what a beauty! Lightweight and handy with its 28″ barrels, this shotgun would be perfect for doves, quail, chukar and pheasant. The wood shows wear consistent with maybe a couple of trips out in the field, but the metal shows only minor operational wear and light handling marks. With all of the quality that shooters have come to expect from a Citori, this 16 gauge will make a fine field gun for the lucky winner. Please see our photos and good luck!
