Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver has five drilled and tapped holes, one is filled.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one-piece composite with a textured gray, white, and black textured finish. The stock has a pistol grip, straight comb, cheekpiecce, and sling studs. There are light handling marks. The LOP measures 14? from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In my opinion, this bore is a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is light handling wear. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a serial matching box and a manual.

Our Assessment: While most known for their large caliber rifles and heavy weapons such as the famous M82 .50 Cal rifle, Barrett has also made top quality lightweight small bore rifles like this, the Fieldcraft. The rifle has a stainless construction and composite stock making it impervious to the elements. The pushfeed bolt is spiral fluted and has an M16-style extractor. The rifle features a 21″ barrel chambered for the classic .243 Winchester and has 1:7″ twist rifling, paired with the adjustable Timney trigger, this rifle is ready to shoot tight groups. Weighing in at only 5.5 pounds, this is a rifle you can trek with all day without getting worn out. This one has light handling wear and has a great bore. All this rifle needs is a quality pair of rings and a nice scope and you’re all set. Please see our photos and good luck!
