Sights/Optics: The front sight is a hooded beaded blade dovetailed into a serrated ramped base screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a “U” notched leaf on a sliding ramped riser that is fixed to the barrel. It is adjustable for windage and elevation. The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped and filled to allow for the mounting of optics (None Included).
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stocks are a two-piece fleur de lis pattern checkered walnut set with a capped forearm, a capped pistol grip, a fluted straight comb and a checkered hard rubber buttplate. There are some handling marks, but no notable defects. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 3/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate. The butt plate has some scattered handling marks but no notable defects. The checkering on the buttplate is sharp. The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Markings: The left side of the receiver is engraved and has a gold depiction of Remington’s founder, Eliphalet Remington, carrying a rifle. The right side of the receiver is engraved and has a gold banner with the word “1816 BICENTENNIAL 2016”.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some scattered handling marks but no notable defects. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: Included is a 4-round magazine, Remington original factory box, a locking device and a cleaning brush.
Our Assessment: The Remington 7600 is a reliable and easy to point pump action rifle with detachable magazines. It features a pump action, dual action bars, a rotating bolt, a solid frame, and side ejection. The finish, bore and mechanics are great. This rifle was made around 2016, in honor of the The Remington company’s Bicentennial. It has about 99% of the blue finish remaining and is in about Excellent condition. This rifle comes with one magazine, a Remington original factory box and a locking device.
