Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for front or rear sights. The top of the receiver has a leupold scope base ready to accept a scope (not included).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The one piece checkered wood CCL stock has a pistol grip with steel grip cap, inletted sling swivels, ebony tip, fluted straight comb and rubber buttpad. The stock shows a couple of light handling and storage marks. The LOP measures 13 ?” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. This stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The metal shows a few light handling and storage marks. The bottom of the trigger guard has a few scratches. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions Correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes its original serial matching box, manual, test target and warranty registration card.
Our Assessment: This is a Model 21 bolt action rifle from Cooper Firearms of Montana. Cooper made their way into the rifle market producing high-quality rifles at “affordable” prices, though their quality means that affordable is in relation to rifles such as Blaser, Dakota and other high-end manufacturers. Beginning in 1990 a handful of former employees from Kimber of Oregon, with over 50 years in combined experience, set out to design and build the finest production rifles made in the United States. They have been known as one of the top makers of bolt action rifles ever since. This model 21 was manufactured in 2008 and is in Excellent Plus overall condition, showing little use. This example has a 22? barrel chambered for .223 Remington, great bore, beautiful CCL checkered wood stock, and retaining 99% of its beautiful blued finish. This is a gorgeous rifle that will make short work of paper targets and would make a fine hunting rifle, making this a definite must have bolt action single shot rifle!
