Choke: Both barrels are threaded for chokes. Both barrel sets are installed with Improved Cylinder over Cylinder. Each barrel set is also included with Modified, Improved Modified, and Full chokes.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a metal bead at the muzzle. The top of the rib is finely checkered for glare reduction. Both barrel sets have the same sighting configuration.
Weight: 20 GA: 5 lb 11 oz. 28 GA: 5 lb 9 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a beautiful two-piece checkered walnut with a pistol grip, straight comb, and serrated wood buttplate. The 20 Gauge forend has a few little marks through the finish, mostly on the right side at the rear. The 28 Gauge forend has some light handling marks. There are a few little marks throuhg the finish from use and handling on the buttstock. The checkering is strong. The LOP is 14 3/4? from the front of the trigger to the rear of the plate. The drop at comb is 1 1/2″ and the drop at heel is 2 1/4″. Overall, the stocks rate in about Fine Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are all bright. There are a few areas of stubborn fouling but there is no erosion. In my opinion, these four bores rate 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some light handling marks. There is light operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The shotgun has an upper tang mounted safety & barrel selector, it does not set automatically but functions correctly when manually set. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a Negrini hard case, the previously described chokes, paperwork including the manual, and test certificates.
Our Assessment: The Ellipse EVO is truly a stunning over/under shotgun. The deep relief scroll hand finished engraving on the receiver and foreend assembly make this sporting gun unique among others in the field. The handwork and design are from the studios of the world renowned Italian engraving house, Bottega Incisioni C. Giovanelli. The coin finish frame is painstakingly hand polished. Balancing the beauty of the deeply sculpted engraving is a deluxe grade of walnut, featuring precision cut 26 lines-per-inch checkering and a natural oil finish, hand rubbed to a sheen that enhances the highly figured wood grain. The Ellipse EVO is available in 12 gauge as a standard offering, but 20, 28 and combination two-barrel sets in 20/28 gauge are also available. This is s 20/28 gauge set and is a great sporting setup that is ready for an outing in the field. The engraving and stocks are world class, a true piece of art. Please see our pictures and good luck.
