Our Assessment: The 1911 and 1911-A1 pistols served the military of the United States from 1911 to 1985, through two World Wars and the Korean and Vietnam wars. They gained a reputation as a reliable handgun with plenty of stopping power, and are held in high regard by those who have used them. The design is one of the most beloved and has gone through many design evolutions such as modular frames like this Competition-Grade pistol from Staccato.
The XC was introduced in 2020 in 9mm and features Dawson sights, a 2011 double stack modular grip, 5” Island Comp Barrel, an optic-ready slide, railed frame, the recoil master system, skeletonized hammer & trigger, ambidextrous thumb safety, an indexing bump beavertail safety, and forward & rear slide serrations. Most individuals interested in Staccato pistols already know all this. Those unfamiliar with Staccato usually become interested very quickly. The competition-grade 2011 XC is one of the best Staccato has to offer. As they say at Staccato, with the 2011 XC is “the unfair advantage”. Please see our photos and good luck in your bidding!
