Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder produces very little side-to-side play. The double-action trigger pull is smooth, the single action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None.

Our Assessment: Introduced in 1977, the model 63 is a J-frame, stainless steel, rimfire revolver. Its smaller frame and .22 LR chambering make it a nice training revolver for new shooters, especially those with smaller hands. These handy revolvers are dubbed “Kit Guns” for their usefulness in one’s “kit” on hiking, fishing, camping, or other outdoor excursions. This is a No Dash model from before they eliminated the pinned barrel.

This one has custom engraving by one of the best…Angelo Bee! A Master Engraver at Browning, Angelo would eventually move to America to ply his trade after he had honed his skills to become one of the finest engravers in the nation. This skill shows in his breathtaking mixture relief engraved game scenes and scroll work. The gun is in Excellent condition with some scattered light handling marks and operational wear. It looks phenomenal and has a great bore, it will be a fantastic addition to a collection lacking a 63 and this will certainly improve any collection it joins! Please see our pictures and good luck!

Some are hot, some are not, but thankfully most can be shot!
