Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “”BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN UTAH – MADE IN JAPAN/MIROKU”. The upper tang is marked “01935RP199”. The right side of the barrel is marked “BT-99 SPECIAL STEEL 12GA. SHELLS 2 ¾”. The left side of the barrel lug is marked “34*”. The bottom of the barrel is marked “01935” and with three Japanese proofs. The inside of the forend iron is marked “1935”. The receiver has Grade 2 engraving with fowl scene. The engraving motif continues onto the forend iron, lever, and guard.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece checkered wood with pistol grip and ventilated rubber buttpad. The wood show light handling and storage marks with some compressed checkers. The balance of finish shows light drage lines. The LOP measures 14 ¼” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are no chips or cracks. The drop at comb is 1 ¾”, the drop at heel is 1 ¾”. The cast is neutral. The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion and for the age, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only light halnding and storage marks. The receiver is Grade 2 engraved with fowl scenes. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun in a black Browning cardoard box with serial matching label. The box shows moderate wear with rips and tears in the corners.
