Our Assessment: From SK Custom’s website: Remember the Alamo! And while you’re at it, remember General Sam Houston and the battle of San Jacinto. This battle not only avenged the massacre at the Alamo but forced Santa Anna to sign the treaty of Velasco. As a result, Texas gained its independence. Not to mention the acquisition of New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, California, Utah, and parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, and Wyoming. For this reason, SK Arms celebrates Sam Houston with its Lost States of America Engravers Series, Lost State of Jacinto 1911. This iconic collector’s pistol transforms a Colt 1911 into a masterful piece of storytelling. The polished steel frame of the 1911 features beautiful Mesquite Burl grips, manufactured and sourced in Texas. Each grip has a 24k gold plated horse set into the wood, presumably depicting General Houston’s horse. Likewise, 24k gold plated slide stop, magazine release, hammer, manual safety lever, pins, and screws accentuate the theme. The limited production of only 200 of these pistols makes for a wonderful addition to any collection. Please see our photos and good luck!

As Always, Keep Your Powder Dry and Bid High!
