Markings: The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther “Banner” logo and “Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. / PP Super Cal. 9×18 / Made in W. Germany”. The right side of the slide is marked with an “Eagle over N” proof and “17051”. The left side of the frame has an import mark “Interarms, Alex,. VA.” The back of the barrel is marked with an “Eagle over N” proof, and the right side of the barrel is marked with “HH” proof.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a low profile blade with a white dot. The rear sight is a square notched groove adjustable for windage and dovetailed into the slide. The top of the slide is serrated with a matte finish to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black checkered plastic with a thumbrest on the left side. The grips show heavy handling marks on the butt and shallow handling marks scattered throughout. The checkering is worn unevenly, The grips rate in about very good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 87% of its metal finish. There is surface loss on the leading edges of the slide. There is scattered pinprick surface erosion and frosting. The rest of the slide and frame show light handling marks, plus wear marks on the front strap. There is some thinning to the finish on the moving parts. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Very Good to Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with two blued Factory magazines marked “Walther / 9×18” on the left side and are in Excellent condition. Included with the pistol is the factory box with test targets and instruction manual. The targets and box number match the gun. There is a cleaning rod and two allen wrenches. All accessories are in about Excellent overall condition.
Our Assessment: This pistol is an imported West German 9mmx18 Ultra, which, as the name suggests, is about halfway between the .380 ACP and 9mm Parabellum rounds in muzzle energy, firing a 100 gr. bullet at just over 1000 fps. This pistol isn’t a bad size for a carry pistol, and 9x18mm Ultra ammo is available in the United States from Fiocchi, among others. The box paperwork and accessories make for a nice package. It was first marketed in 1972 and was withdrawn from the catalogue 1979.
