Markings: The top tang is marked “R32152S / 682 GOLD E”. The water table is marked with Italian proofs. The bottom of the receiver is marked “MADE IN ITALY”, “BERETTA / 682 GOLD E”, and has the three arrow logo. The trigger plate is marked “PATENTED”. The trigger guard has circles collapsing in on each other. The sides of the receiver are marked “BERETTA”, “682 GOLD E”, the Beretta logo, and have merging circular lines. The left of the top chamber is marked “SPORTING / BERETTA – MADE IN ITALY / GARDONE V.T.” and the right is marked “BERETTA USA CORP. ACCK. MD”. The left side of the top barrel is marked “OB 12 GA. 3” – 76 – 32””, “OPTIMA-BORE”, “18.6”, an Italian proof and the right side is marked with a warning address. The bottom of the monoblock is marked “R32152S”. The bottom of the lower barrel is marked “MOORE & SON THONOTOSASSA, FL”. The left side of the bottom barrel is marked “- EXCELSIOR – HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL” and with two proof marks, specifications, and the date code. The right side of the lower barrel is marked “810088”.
Barrel Length: 32” Vent Rib
Choke: The barrels are threaded for interchangeable chokes. Included are two Modified, Improved Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet.
Sights / Optics: There is a red fiber optic bead at the front of the rib.
Weight: 7 lbs, 14.2 oz
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a schnabel forend, pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and a black rubber Beretta buttpad. There are some scattered compressions and handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is generally strong with light handling wear. The LOP measures 14 7/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the Beretta buttpad. The drop at the comb measures approximately 1 3/8” and 2” at the heel. The cast is slightly off. The pad has light wear and remains soft. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine-Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. There are some scattered faint marks on the barrels. The receiver has some light handling wear and a smooth rub on the bottom at the front. There are standard operational marks. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a Beretta hard case, a spare front sight and trigger, choke set, manual, and screwdriver. The left latch on the case is broken.
Our Assessment: Beretta is one of the oldest manufacturing houses that has been producing some of the best quality competition shotguns around, and this piece is no exception. With the immense quality of a Beretta, beautiful finishing and nice walnut stocks, this is a gun that comes alive in your hands and promises to be an absolute nightmare for both clay and flesh birds.
