Markings: (Both rifles bear the same markings aside from the serial number. The High Grade rifle has gold accents on the receiver). The left shoulder of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER” and “Model 1894 — Caliber 30-30 Win. ONLY”, the left side of the barrel is marked with the ovalled “WP” proof. The right shoulder of the barrel is marked “AMERICAN BALD EAGLE 1982-2012” and “Made by Miroku – – imported by BACO, Inc. – Morgan, Utah / Winchester is a registered trademark of Olin Corporation”. The upper tang is marked “WINCHESTER / MODEL 1894”. The serial number is on the underside of the frame and the lever plate is marked “W”. The sides of the receiver have floral scroll engraving on the sides, the left side has a soaring eagle, the right side has the bust of an eagle.
Barrel Length: 24” Half Round, Half Octagonal
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade with a serrated rear face dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a semi Buckhorn U-notched leaf on a slide-step elevator, which is dovetailed onto the barrel. The top of the receiver has four drilled, tapped and filled holes and the upper tang has one drilled, tapped, and filled hole.
Stock Configuration & Condition: KB022: The stocks are two piece smooth walnut with a capped forearm, straight grip and comb, and a crescent steel buttplate. There are some tiny nicks on the left side of the grip and a white scuff on the lower right side. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate which has no wear to speak of. The stocks rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.
KB023: The stocks are two piece high grade checkered walnut with a capped forearm, straight grip and comb, and a crescent steel buttplate. The Winchester “W” is on the bottom of the forearm. There are some tiny nicks on the toe. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate which has no wear to speak of. The stocks rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bores. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: Both rifles retain about 99% of its metal finish. Neither shows any significant wear or damage. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, these rifles rate in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: Both: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifles come in their respective original boxes with foam inserts, paperwork including the manual, and a safety lock. Also included is a photo copied letter from the U.S. Repeating Arms Company with original shipping information.
Our Assessment: The American Bald Eagle is a symbol of American strength, spirit, and freedom, and is revered by people all over the world. It is the national bird and symbol of the United States of America, and is considered an emblem of freedom and patriotism. On display is a beautiful set of Winchester Model 94 American Bald Eagle Commemorative rifles; one Grade I Sporting rifle and one High Grade rifle with deluxe checkered stocks and gold accents.
