There is a crack on the top of the wrist at the rear of the tang. There is another crack on the right side of the wrist at the rear of the bottom tang. There are areas of crazing. There are some scattered little spots of finish loss. There are some scattered little scratches and compressions. The checkering is mostly strong. The drop at the front of the comb is approximately 1 1/2″ and drop at heel 2 3/8″. The LOP measures 14 1/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad, 13 3/8″ to the back of the wood. Overall, the stocks are in about Very Good condition.

Type of Finish: Blue

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion. Both barrel sets rate in about 10 out of 10 in my opinion.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 90% of its metal finish. There is some thinning and finish loss on the receiver. There are some scattered little scuffs and light handling marks. The barrel sets each have scattered areas of oxidation, discoloration from oxidation, and a few marks through the finish. The oxidation is heavier on the 30″ barrel. There is standard operational wear. The screwheads are lightly worn. The pin heads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrels lock to the receiver with no play. The trigger is crisp. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a hard case and 26 3/4″ subgauge tubes for 20 ga, 28 ga, and .410 bore.

Our Assessment: The Remington 32 was discontinued shortly after WWII and their patents on the design were not renewed. Henrich Krieghoff, having recently escaped Soviet-controlled East Germany had settled in Ulm and started making sporting arms. He was able to receive approval from Remington to utilize their design and the Krieghoff 32 was born! It would go on to be considered one of the finest sporting shotguns available, and with good reason. This example was produced in 1963 and has survived the decades well with only some scattered wear, the bores are bright and the mechanics and trigger pull are still competition ready. This should make a nice all-around sporting gun for the lucky winner. Please see our photos and good luck!

Some are hot, some are not, but thankfully most can be shot!
