Our Assessment: This rifle is a real find. Chambered in the popular .44 Remington Magnum, it’s a great SASS shooter that you can feed without breaking the bank. The furniture is in Fine condition; the gun retains 97% of its metal finish and has a JM marked barrel indicating it was made prior to the purchase of Marlin by Remington. The 24” octagonal barrel gives it some weight, minimizing recoil, which will help you to get back on target quickly. If you’re a Cowboy shooter or a fan of lever action rifles, you’ll love having this gun in your collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
