Our Assessment: This is a S&W Model 35-1 Model of 1953 .22 Kit Gun with a 6” barrel and a blue finish. The revolver is in about Excellent condition with about 98% of its original metal finish remaining. The Model 35 Target is built on the same frame as the Model 34 Kit Gun but differentiates itself with its 6″ barrel and Patridge front sight. This is the 35-1 Model with the larger J-Frame as compared to the original design. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion. With its adjustable sights it should be quite accurate with its 6” barrel, it will be great for plinking and varmint control. It would make a perfect plinker, but in its high condition, this is going to interest the Smith collectors too. Please see our photos and good luck!
