Markings: The underside of the receiver is marked “K-80 / KRIEGHOFF / Germany”. The left lip of the receiver is marked with the serial number and the right lip is marked with a proof. The forend hardware is numbered “020945”. The forend, lever, trigger guard, and receiver have Krieghoff “Suhl Scroll” pattern scroll engraving. The left side of the upper barrel is marked with a two line warning. The left side of the lower barrel is marked “KRIEGHOFF INT., OTTSVILLE, PA”. The left side of each chamber is marked “3”. The left side of both barrels are marked with proofs. The bottom of the right shoulder of the barrel set is marked “1135” and the left is marked “04”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked with proofs and “MADE IN / GERMANY / KRIRGHOFF / ULM DE”.

Barrel Length: 30″

Choke: The barrels are threaded for Briley ThinWall chokes and installed with Skeet chokes.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white bead in a base that is screwed to the rib. There is a smaller metal midbead on the rib. The rib has wavy serrations for glare reduction.

Weight: 8 lb., 8 oz.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered wood with a pistol grip with palm swells, straight comb, finger groove forend, and black rubber buttpad. These are upgraded stocks from Krieghoff and have exceptional grain. There are a few compressions and marks, most noticeable on the comb, left side of the forend, and on the edge of the pistol grip. The checkering is mostly strong. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 1/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad and 13 1/8″ to the wood. The drop at the comb is 1 3/8? and at the heel is 2 1/4?. The stocks rate in about Fine Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with no erosion.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The frame has light handling marks. There are some scattered little minor marks through the finish on the barrel set. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This shotgun has received an annual service rebuild and has the updated lever rod. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a Negrini hard case, additional chokes, wrench, hammer, subgauge tube tools, and Briley subgauge tubes for .410, 28 GA and 20 GA. The included Briley chokes are 12 GA: Improved Cylinder, Improved Modified & Light Full, 20 GA: Improved Cylinder & Modified, 28 GA: Improved Cylinder & Modified, .410 Bore: Improved Cylinder & Modified.

Our Assessment: The Krieghoff K80 needs no introduction…. It is the Rolex or Rolls-Royce of the shooting world. It is the gun that just about every shooter wants to add to the safe or arsenal for the range. The gun can literally take thousands of rounds and shooters trust these guns to take the abuse of serious competition. This is one is SHARP and has Krieghoffs “Suhl Scroll” pattern engraving paired with upgraded wood stocks, both of which pop on the dual-toned finish. It doesn’t stop there, this one comes with an assembly of Briley subgauge tubes so you can shoot a round of skeet with each gauge. This shotgun is in truly beautiful condition, functions as if it were new due to the Krieghoff service rebuild, and is ready for a spot in your collection.
