The Ruger Vaquero is a fascinating revolver. It seems to be a classic single-action revolver that evokes all manner of nostalgia for the Old West, for more wild and dangerous times. But like always, Bill Ruger had a keen ability to find gaps in the market and target fine products to fill that gap. As classic as the Vaquero looks, it dates back only to 1993. It remained largely unchanged until 2005 when Ruger would revise the gun, making a smaller, lighter revolver—notably, there is less metal in the cylinder and the walls of the chambers are thinner. This one has a Bisley grip frame and has received custom engraving. This revolver is in great shape with a clean bore, strong mechanics, and hardly anything in the way of wear.
